Introduction to DSLR Video Editing with Tim Daly
A brand new course suitable for beginners who want to learn how to shoot and edit digital video with their DSLR cameras. Learn how to compile your own videos using the accessible Adobe Premier Elements software. During the course we will cover the essentials of capture and basic editing using Adobe Premier Elements software on Windows PC laptop computers. You will learn how to import then sequence your clips and add sound and titles to your work.

Course materials
Sample movie clips will be provided for you to use during the course. You are welcome to bring your own clips, but it’s unlikely that you will have time to import or render your work due to the time constraints of this one-day course.

Parking: There is no parking at the RPS on weekdays but there are spaces available in the surrounding streets.  At weekends you can park in the RPS car park (usually 12 places available) which is accessed to the left of the building through a gateway.

Lunch is not provided unless stated. There is a delicatessen that offers sandwiches and snacks within walking distance which is open from Monday - Saturdays. There is also the CO-OP, a pub and newsagents open Monday - Sundays.

Cancellation policy

Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a course as it is not possible to refund any cancellation or transfer to another workshop less than 14 days prior to course start date. The Society reserves the right to cancel a workshop 7 days prior to its start date - please check your hotel and travel cancellation policy as this may be affected. If you are attending one of our workshops that involves a trip out please ensure you bring all weather clothing and protection for your camera. Persons under the age of 16 are welcome to attend events but, to conform with UK law, must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
