The Royal Photographic Society Distinctions are recognised as the most prestigious in the photographic world. There are three levels, the Associate is the second level of The Society’s Distinctions and is a significant step up from the first level, the Licentiateship. The third level, the Fellowship, is the highest level of the Society’s Distinctions and only Associates of The RPS may apply.

The panel members are looking for clear evidence of a personal vision or style which should convey a sense of design, emotion, mood or something meaningful which encourages the viewer to look beyond the subject

It is essential that you book onto an assessment day in order for your portfolio of work to be assessed for the ARPS.

This assessment will be for print submissions only

There are 26 places available per day so it is important to book ahead of time. Please use the contact information below to book a place for this assessment.

Spectators are welcome to attend free of charge.

The assessment will be held in Suite 20, near hall 9.
