An opportunity to photograph this important Elizabethan manor house, a property of The National Trust, on a day when it is closed to the public.

Canons Ashby House is located off the A361 some 8 miles northeast of Banbury, and we intend to meet in the NT car park there at 10.15 am.  We shall be free to photograph the fine interior rooms and their artefacts from 10.30am until 12.30pm.  Following lunch (optional) in the adjacent tea-room, those who wish may continue to take photographs in the extensive gardens, parkland and nearby Priory church.

Tripods may be used in the house (rubber-tipped), but not flash.

Fee £12 payable on the day (National Trust members and non-members)
