This photo walk is based around the market town of Newbury which has both a historic and modern character.

The walk will start at the Wharf and will follow along the River Kennet where there is an opportunity to take photos of barges, swans, ducks and birds.

On the way there are historic buildings leading to the market place, where there is the possibility to capture people and stall photos at the Farmers' Market (it is recommended and would be polite to seek permission first). The famous Corn Exchange build in 1861 and the Town Hall with its high clock tower are a couple of historic buildings to name.

The walk also includes St Nicholas' Church where pictures can be taken in the grounds and if the care taker is available on the day, there will be the opportunity to take pictures from the Church Tower seeing Newbury in the distance.

Meet up location: Outside Newbury Central Library (car park is just next to it), The Wharf, Newbury, RG14 5QP
