North Cornwall is full of beautiful locations such as Sandymouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Trebarwith Strand, The Rumps and Trevose Head.  In June, the cliff tops are often carpeted in wild flowers and the light and conditions toward sunset can be magical. It is no surprise that this is such a popular area among landscape photographers.

During this 1-day landscape photography workshop, we will be paying special attention to using filters. We will look at technical filtration – using graduated neutral density filters to balance the light in high contrast scenes. And also creative filtration – using full neutral density filters to extend shutter speeds to blur moving water and clouds for ethereal-looking images.

Don’t worry if you don’t presently have any filters, as we have LEE Filter systems and filters for participants to use, including Big Stoppers and Little Stoppers. This is the perfect opportunity to either hone your filter using skills, or try them for the first time.

During the day you will receive expert tuition from two of the UK’s leading landscape professionals – Mark Bauer and Ross Hoddinott. They will be on hand to give you guidance on all aspects of landscape technique.
