DURING THE MORNING we will have a variety of presentations, largely centred around the theme of heritage photography.
Marilyn Taylor ARPS will be talking on ‘re-enactment’ photography – photographing re-staged historical events. Also in the morning is a presentation by Neil Cave from TimeLine Events, who will be talking to us about his popular ‘participation’ events that bring Heritage and Photography together.  TimeLine Events have kindly donated a voucher for our prize draw.
To tie in with these presentations we would like any attendees who have been on any of these events to bring along a print or two, so we can display these on the day.

IN THE AFTERNOON we have our usual PDI Competition, but with a big difference from this year. We have created a valuable trophy for this event - ‘The Len Deeley Memorial Trophy’. Len Deeley FRPS, a popular and renowned sub-aqua photographer, died, suddenly and prematurely, in 2016, just months after entering, and winning, the Thames Valley Centre PDI Competition. It was felt fitting therefore, that the Thames Valley Centre create this Trophy in his name for this competition. His name is posthumously engraved on the base as the first winner.
As a prelude to the Competition, we will be showing some of Len's photographic work - both stills and AVs - and there will be a video message about Len from the DIG Chair, Janet Haines ARPS.

Please see the 'Our PDI Competition' page for full details and rules of the competiton.
