Aysgarth Falls are three separate water falls. They are the upper, middle and lower falls on the river Ure in Wenslydale in North Yorkshire. The river banks are tree lined so we may be lucky with the autumn colours. The walking distance in between all the falls is not a great distance and the upper falls can be shot from a road bridge.

We will have lunch at the cafe onsite at the Aysgarth Falls car park.

There is a £5 charge for the car park (correct at the time of going to print!).

NB The rendezvous car park is just under half a mile on the left hand side after leaving the A684.  It is not the first car park which is on the right hand side.

This is a category A field trip which means that the guide has a good knowledge of the location (e.g. good viewpoints, good subjects, good times of day, tides if relevant etc.) and will have ideas about what to do in case of unhelpful weather or light conditions, but does not wish to offer any advice on photography skills or techniques.
