In view of the popularity of this event, tickets are initially being offered exclusively to members of the Landscape Group plus a friend, partner or spouse.  Bookings may be opened to other members of the RPS at a later date, depending on take-up from group members.

Following the popularity of this event in March 2017, we have arranged another dawn trip to Stonehenge for next year - but with some important differences:

  • the RPS will have EXCLUSIVE access to Stonehenge
  • sunrise will occur DURING the time we will be on site - although, of course, we can't guarantee that you will see the sun!
  • we are limiting places to a maximum of 20 in order to reduce incidents of photo-bombing!

Access to Stonehenge is usually limited to normal office hours and visitors must remain outside a perimeter cordon.  This shoot will take place at dawn and participants will be able to gain close access to the stones.  With a maximum number of 20 visitors, this promises to be an ideal and rare opportunity for some great photography.

Following the 1-hour Stonehenge visit, participants will be able to visit some of the other magnificent local sites including Woodhenge (5 miles), Salisbury Cathedral (10 miles), Old Sarum (10 miles), Caen Hill Locks (17 miles), West Kennet Long Barrow (24 miles), and Europe's largest stone circle at Avebury (24 miles).  (Admission charges apply to some of these locations and are not included in the price of the Stonehenge shoot.)

The price of this ticket will also give participants the ability to revisit Stonehenge again on the same day during normal opening hours (and subject to the normal restrictions).
