From Northolt Station a short walk through the village, with its fourteenth century church, and along the Grand Union Canal will bring us to the artificial hills of Northala Fields, created from the rubble of the old Wembley Stadium. We'll climb to the top of one (or more!) of these for panoramic views across London and also take a wander around the lake before returning to Northolt. There's the option of a pub lunch (at your own expense) to finish the walk. (The pub often gets crowded on a Sunday so it would be helpful if you could let the organisers know if you plan to stay for lunch as we can then book a table.)

Much of the walk will be on unsurfaced paths and may be muddy so please make sure you wear appropriate footwear. Also please remember to bring a drink to keep you hydrated.

Cancellation policy

This event is free but bookings are necessary because numbers are limited . If you book a place but subsequently find you are unable to come, please let us know so that your place can be allocated to someone on the waiting list.

Hearing and access requirements

We will be walking on some rough, unmade paths which may be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink to keep you hydrated
