Greg Bos a local South West member will talk to us about both his career in photojournalism at a Canadian daily newspaper and as a full-time staff photographer and senior picture editor at Reuters, his 24 years there seeing him cover some of the world’s major events. Currently Greg works as a freelance dual-based in London and Devon.

Trails of the West is the result of Greg’s 33-year documentary project on the North American Cowboy which culminated in a highly successful London exhibition in August 2018 and the publication of an accompanying book as featured in the July edition of the Journal.

After lunch:

The afternoon session will allow members to showcase some of their own favourite images, successful panels or for those not quite ready for a distinctions advisory day but would like some informal advice from other members.

Booking is essential for the afternoon session as timed slots will be allocated to each applicant. Please contact the organiser.

The room will be open at 10am, please do not enter before this time

Cancellation policy

If cancellation is made less than 1 week before the event no refund will be made, ant other refunds made will be subject to an admin charge

Hearing and access requirements

The room is on the first floor with no access for disabled or wheelchairs. Lunch can be booked d at the hotel, but no food not bought on the premises may be consumed within the hotel. Lunch should be booked before the event please.
