Autumn is the most exciting time in a landscape photographer's calendar and the Yorkshire Dales is the perfect backdrop to take pictures in. This workshop in Wensleydale has been carefully selected for prime autumn colour along with its numerous gushing waterfalls, rivers and streams. It's photographic heaven and professional photgrapher Mark Banks will be on hand throughout the day to help you make the most of it.

Most locations will be within 500 yards of the vehicles. There may be areas of undulating ground and slippery surfaces if wet. There is a small but steep incline downhill to the falls, which will need to be walked back up at the end of the session. However, Mark will happily collect you in the vehicle from the bottom if needed.

There is a splendid cafe at the visitor centre which offer hot and cold food and drinks, although you are welcome to bring a packed lunch if you prefer. There are also toilet facilities at the centre.

You should bring / wear:

  • Camera
  • charged batteries
  • memory card
  • tripod
  • warm and waterproof clothing and footwear.

Maximum group size: 6
