This month the London Naturally Group will take a stroll through Wanstead Park following the Chestnut Trail. This is a circular walk of around three miles, starting and finishing at Wanstead Station.

We meet at Wanstead Station (Central Line), approximately a 15 minute walk from Wanstead Park. In the park we will take a circular route following the 'Chestnut Trail'. This takes us, as its name suggests, through avenues of Chestnut trees – both Horse and Sweet. Lots of conkers to collect should you be that way inclined! It also passes several lakes with an abundance of birdlife including swans, ducks and herons. Trees, water, birds, squirrels, dog walkers – what more could you ask for on a photo walk?

Following the walk there is the option of a pub lunch close to the station.

This is our final London Naturally walk for 2019. Our next walk will be on 26th January 2020.
