This tutored workshop will start with a sunrise in the High Peak followed by classic millstone views. Next, we will move on to a gorge where there is an opportunity to capture a tumbling stream cascades as well as autumn colours in the trees and fallen leaves.  Other locations may also be included depending on time and weather.

Teqniques will cover the use of mainly wide angle and medium telephoto lenses, through to large zoom lenses. The use of a polarising filter along with ND grad filters in the landscape will be beneficial.

Participants may bring a packed lunch / breakfast but a stop at a café will be made for hot drinks, food and toilets.

What to bring:

  • food and drinks (optional)
  • good quality walking or welly boots and socks ( it can get rather muddy)
  • layered warm and waterproof clothing
  • gloves and hat
  • camera, lenses, filters, tripod, batteries
  • change for parking meters.

Please note:  there will be some uneven ground and hill walking may be required (depending on the weather).  Parking charges of £2 to £3 may be incurred.

This will be a group B event for up to six participants.
