Mrs Patricia Meakins

I have been a very happy member of the Royal Photographic Society since 2011.  I enjoy the interaction between other members and of course the exceptional service from the team at Fenton House.   I have taken photographs for as long as I can remember, not always digital, but transferred over as soon as Digital became readily available.  I have always enjoyed the process of photography,  and the fact that there is always something new to discover.  I enjoy sharing skill sets with other photographers, and never miss an opportunity to get out and about with the camera.  My passion I suppose is almost anything to do with photography I am never afraid to tread the path to somewhere different.  I have had the opportunity to photograph weddings, Rugby Academies for former Bath International Olly Barkley, Engagement shoots, and even a magicians show.  Recently have photographed Taste of Bath at the houses of Parliament, and Mary Berry at the Bath Parade Gardens, as well as the Alkmaar Bath Twinning anniversary.  Everything I do connected to my photography is either for the community or for a charitable organisation. Any monies raised through my photography is handed to the William Budd Ward Macmillan at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. It was an extremely proud day when I received my Licentiate from the Royal Photographic Society.  So much to explore and so much happening in the world of photography.  Its a true saying that nothing is so consistent as change, and that certainly applies to photography.
