Closes: 18th April 2019 at 23:59 (UK Time)

Portrait of Britain is a nationwide photography exhibition, created by British Journal of Photography in partnership with JCDecaux. The exhibition celebrates the rich tapestry of people that make up the UK, by turning their stories into public art.

Photographers of any level are invited to submit portraits that show the many faces of modern Britain.  Last year’s shortlisted entries featured newborns and ninety-somethings, nuns and bikers, artists and Olympic athletes.

With the nation currently at such a crucial point in its history it will be interesting to see how/if this manifests in the winning images this year.
