Bleeding London – Phase II, Day 44

14 December 2014

Region: London

Suffragette City

Today’s featured image is SW1 Victoria Tower Gardens (Emily Pankhurst Statue) by Joe Jacobs because today is the anniversary of the first election in which women had the right to vote.  How times have changed – polling took place on Saturday 14th 1918 but the votes weren’t counted until the 28th December to allow time to collect the votes from those serving overseas.

Upload Deadline – We’re not announcing any further update deadlines as we want to be flexible over the festive period.  The portfolio site will be closing on the 31st December, so if you still have any images on your hard-drive, please get them uploaded before the end of the year.

Bonus Points Our hot-list postcode areas this week are:  E7, E13, N22, SE3 and SW2 – the ‘still-to-do’ lists are downloadable from here. Each day this week, there will be ten bonus points for any new streets from these areas.

And there are also ten bonus points for the two Pankhurst streets missing from the portfolio, namely, Pankhurst Avenue in E16 and Pankhurst Close in TW7.

Don’t forget to add the bonus point code (BPCC 141214) to the description box.
