Day 2 of Bleeding London’s “Ex” weekend – looking for “Ex” banks.

Many of the old banking branches have disappeared as their premises have been converted into bars, restaurants and coffee shops, amongst other things. Today, we’re looking for these erstwhile banks.  We suspect that there are plenty in every postcode.  If you can’t find one, then snap anything banksy – from Barclays to the graffiti artist.  We’re also looking for street names with “Bank” in the title.

There are bonus points for any image that used to be a bank, as long as you add BPCC 251014 and if you can provide the brand name, we’ll double the points. Ten times the points for those in the suburbs, N18 and N12. (BPCC 2610).

We’re still looking for post-people for some of the postcode areas. If you can help co-ordinate the streets that have been covered and arrange some coverage of your area, please drop us a line at london@rps.org.
