Who will win the Deutsche Börse Prize 2015?

Want to see the nominations for the 2015 Deutsche Börse Photography Prize?

On show at the Photographers’ Gallery until the 7th June are the four exhibitions that have been short-listed for this coveted photographic award.

RPS London’s money is on the Ponte City “album” from Mikhael Subotzky and Patrick Waterhouse.  But, of course, the prize could go to Nikolay Bakharev for his collection of Russian bathers in the 1980s and 1990s,  Zanele Muholi’s striking mono portraits of South Africa’s LGBTI community or Viviane Sassen’s multi-genre Umbra.

“The Deutsche Börse Photography Prize aims to reward a contemporary photographer of any nationality, who has made the most significant contribution (exhibition or publication) to the medium of photography in Europe in the previous year.” (www.deutsche-boerse.com)
