Anderson & Low to appear at TEDxLondon

18 May 2017

Region: London

Honorary Fellows, Anderson & Low, are part of a star-spangled line-up at TEDxLondon, on the 4th June at Sadlers Wells.  Commenting on their contribution to this thought-provoking event, they said:

“We will be discussing recurrent themes in our work, including the relationship between fantasy and perceived reality, imagination, truth, and pushing at the boundaries of what a photograph is ‘supposed to do’.

We are known for bringing drama, heroic and mythic qualities to our wide-ranging work. Using recurrent concepts bring unity to our output as a whole, we also employ stylistic shifts allowing the best expression for each new project.

We will illustrate these themes in relation to some of our art projects, including Chrysalis, Manga Dreams, and will particularly focus on our latest project Voyages.”

The event has been tremendously popular, but we understand there is a waiting list and further details can be found here.   Meanwhile, Anderson & Low’s highly acclaimed exhibition Voyages is still showing at the Science Museum and the accompanying book, Voyages, is widely available.

For those not familiar with TED, it is an ideas driven organisation that brings together creatives, thinkers and entrepreneurs for stimulating discussion.   The talks are then made available online.  We’ll be keeping an eye on the website and posting a link to the event as soon as it’s available.
