Creative Eye Group Open Day - a great success

18 July 2019

SIG: Creative Eye

After 2 workshops from Ann Miles, we saw members' recent distinction panels, a detailed description on how to run a successful, and profitable, exhibition/event and a selection of inspiring current work-in-progress.

A special thanks to Kevin Maskell for coming specially from his sick bed to further inspire us.

Comments from those attending:

"This was our first open day workshop with the Creative Eye Group and we were not disappointed. The work displayed by the various presenters was stunning to say the least. Explanations of how the end results were achieved left us in no doubt of how it was done and generated further ideas of our own to try over the coming months. We took away with us so many ideas for our own work that our head was buzzing with the excitement."

"This is generally my favourite meeting of the three events held at Whittlesford/Foxton as it is so often inspiring to see the work other members are producing, especially as a body of work rather than single images. This year's event was no exception, there was some very inspiring work on show and a huge variety within it."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this event. I wasn’t sure if the Creative Eye group would be right for me, but the presentations and quality of the members work has inspired me to refocus my efforts. Thank you for a really enjoyable day."
