About this image

Vladivostok has some of the highest pollution rates in Russia. Two thirds of the city area is so polluted that it is classified as a health hazard by the World Health Organisation (WHO). In 2012, the first sewage plant in this area was built, however, until it is operating, the city of Vladivostok continues to eliminate water pollution. The admittance for the public beach is 50 kopecks. (Canon EOS 5D MkII, Canon EF 17mm TS/E f4.0 lens)
