Appointed Trustee Recruitment 2025

Process is now underway for Appointed Trustee recruitment 2025

The process for appointing engaged and motivated Trustees that will guide and support the RPS on the next stages of its mission is now underway.

Trustees are volunteers who provide strategic leadership and governance for a charity.  At the RPS, we have a Board of nine Trustees and we are currently appointing three new members.

To be successful in our mission to modernise the RPS, we need a Board of Trustees with a wide range of skills and experiences such as strategic skills, a familiarity with modern management practices, a working knowledge of digital technologies, marketing principles, and legal and financial practice.  We also need Trustees who are familiar with matters of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and, of course, we need trustees who are experienced curators and educators in photography.

More information on the role of a Trustee can be found here.

Should you have any questions regarding the appointment process please contact Alastair Taylor ARPS, the Chair of the Nominations Committee nomchair@rps.org.
