Meet the Artist - Jack Latham

A two hour informal discussion with artist and photographer Jack Latham. 

This will be in a small group where you will be able to see new material not in the exhibition and interrogate the artist.

Jack Latham is a photographer based in Bristol. He is the author of several photobooks, A Pink Flamingo (2015), Sugar Paper Theories (2016) and Parliament of Owls (2019). His work has featured in a number of solo shows which include, Reykjavik Museum of Photography and TJ Boulting Gallery. Latham’s projects have also gone on to win multiple awards including the Bar-Tur Photobook award (2015), Image Vevey - Heidi. News Prize (2019) & the BJP International Photography Award (2019).

 

Plan your visit

Please visit rps.org/visit to help plan your trip. Please be aware that the car park in the Paintworks on a weekday is limited to three hours.  Weekends and evenings after 6pm are unlimited.

Bristol Temple Meads train station is a 30 minute walk to Paintworks.

Local Parking

If you need to bring your car and don’t want to use the Park and Ride Buses, you can book a place to park at a nearby supermarket using this link yourparkingspace.co.uk

You can also park all-day for £5 at Arnos Manor.  Visitors will need to go to the hotel reception to purchase a ticket to display on their windscreen.

All areas are fully accessible with a lift, ramps and restrooms on each floor. If you have any specific requirements, please contact us on RPSHouse@rps.org so we can assist you during your visit.

There is public parking in Paintworks. We also have reserved parking spaces we can make available for those with accessibility requirements. Please contact us in advance if you would like to reserve a space. From ground level there are lifts to reach RPS House on the raised ground floor.

Cancellation policy Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an event, it is not possible to refund any cancellation or transfer to another event less than 14 days before event date. The Society reserves the right to cancel an event 7 days prior to its start date - please check your hotel and travel cancellation policy as this may be affected. If you are attending one of our workshops that involves a trip out, please ensure you bring all weather clothing and protection for your camera. Persons under the age of 16 are welcome to attend events but, to conform with UK law, must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.

Jack Latham
