An evening’s photographic adventure along the river with Nigel Wilson. Limited to 8 places.
Before setting out on our Thames routes, we look at the challenges that twilight and night photography presents. Camera operation and special techniques are clearly explained. We then look at some examples of the unique night scenes that London offers, before heading out for our exciting shoot.
Meet outside the National Theatre on the South Bank. The main entrance is on the riverside walkway, facing west.
Finish at Tower Bridge - 5 mins
from London Bridge or Tower Hill stations.
What to bring: Camera + tripod + remote (not essential)
The Tutor: Nigel Wilson is a very experienced teacher, leading inspirational classes at many institutions, including New York University, Photofusion and London’s famous Camera Club. He is also currently lecturing at the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as running workshops for the RPS.

Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a course as it is not possible to refund any cancellation or transfer to another workshop less than 14 days prior to course start date. The Society reserves the right to cancel a workshop 7 days prior to its start date - please check your hotel and travel cancellation policy as this may be affected.
If you are attending one of our workshops that involves a trip out, please ensure you bring all weather clothing and protection for your camera. Persons under the age of 16 are welcome to attend events but, to conform with UK law, must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
