NEW - Explore the wonders of night photography during this creative, hands-on and revealing evening photography workshop with John Roe. You will learn various creative techniques for working in low light conditions and painting with light.
During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the landmarks in the modern city of Bristol - including Millennium Square, Bristol Cathedral, Park Street and Bristol's historic waterfront.
Your tutor (who will accompany you throughout the evening) will not only be there to support you but will ensure that you have a fun and truly informative experience.
The workshop is best suited for DSLR owners but is open to owners of "Point and Shoot" cameras – if capable of manipulating the Shutter and Aperture settings (to sustain the long exposures required for night photography).
On the course, we will also use the timer function on the camera, so please bring a tripod.
If you are not familiar with your camera's settings and functions, you may wish to sign up for the 'Introduction to Your Digital Camera' workshop before attending this course.
What to bring:
- Fully charged digital camera with enough available space on a memory card for a least 80 high-quality images and a tripod.
- Warm, waterproof clothes and sensible footwear.
- We also advised you to bring a spare battery if possible.
