RPS Distinctions are a fantastic way to progress your photography. Develop your technical and creative skills, expand your photographic knowledge and set yourself new challenges.

Our Distinctions Digital Roadshows are for those who are considering applying for a Licentiate, Associate or Fellowship distinction.

Licentiate (LRPS) 

Learn how to achieve your Licentiate Distinction directly from experienced panel chair members, assessors and successful applicants. The presentation will offer an opportunity to view and discuss submissions as well as helpful information about every aspect of the Distinctions process, including what level you should aim for, the criteria required, what advice is available and how to apply.

To become a Licentiate of The Society, applicants must show variety in approach and techniques but not necessarily in subject matter. Learn more →

The Distinctions Digital Roadshows are open to all (RPS Members and non-members) and no prior knowledge or Distinction application is necessary. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

This is a free, online event.
