Miniclick is a monthly series of curated photographer talks, with free beer and networking. It is curated by Izzy de Wattripont and hosted by the RPS.
Robin Friend was born in London in 1983, but spent most of his childhood growing up in Melbourne, Australia. He now lives in the town of Lewes with his family. He has a BA from the University of Plymouth and an MA from the Royal College of Art.
Bull in the Elephant Case for BBC Live - an audacious dance dramatisation of the journey of the National Gallery’s art collection during the second world war.
Friend’s work has been exhibited in galleries and fairs globally ranging from Aperture Gallery in New York to the Pingyao Photography Festival in China, Christies in Paris and at the National Gallery, Somerset House and the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
His work has been collected by the Martin Parr Foundation as well as private collections around the world.
This event is free but requires booking.
This is a live event at RPS House with slightly reduced capacity. Although it is being held post 21 June we may be required to have some social distancing and mask wearing measures in place. We will update you closer to the time.

Within RPS House, all areas are fully accessible with a lift, ramps and restrooms on each floor.

Though there is some accessibility parking in Paintworks, we also have some private parking spaces we can reserve for those with accessibility requirements. Please contact us in advance if you would like a space reserved.
From street level car parking there are lifts available to reach RPS House on the raised ground floor.
