We’re holding a joint event at the RPS's home at Bristol's Paintworks with Martin Parr Foundation and UWE, to mark the reopening of the RPS and MPF galleries and the launch of UWE’s upcoming graduate publication, Solid Air. Join us for a day of photography, RPS and MPF exhibition tours and student artist talks, with street food by Bristol Eats and a pop-up bar by Lost and Grounded.

IN PROGRESS: Laia Abril - Hoda Afshar - Widline Cadet - Adama Jalloh - Alba Zari – presents the work of 5 photographers until the 24 October. During the day there will be walk-through introductory tours at 1400 and 1600. 

Thames Log by Chloe Dewe Mathews will be on display at Martin Parr Foundation from until the 29 August. Chloe will give informal tours of Thames Log and be on hand to discuss the work.

Third year photography students from UWE will have a marquee in the space between RPS and MPF to launch Solid Air, a publication showcasing their photography projects. They will also put on a pop-up outdoor exhibition curated by themselves and hold a series of talks about their work in the RPS auditorium. The full line-up is here: https://rps.org/Solidair

There is public parking in Paintworks. We also have reserved parking spaces we can make available for those with accessibility requirements. Please contact us in advance if you would like to reserve a space. From ground level there are lifts to reach RPS House on the raised ground floor.
