Untangling Lightroom - Tim Daly

Event info

Limited to 10 places. This course is delivered online and is aimed at those who would like to review, revise or rejig their Lightroom catalogue and better organise their images. If you’ve got yourself into a Lightroom tangle, Tim will help you restructure your set up for a simpler workflow. Suitable for a beginner or those who would value a recap, this course shows you how to fix baffling Lightroom issues such as missing files and folders, backing-up, multiple catalogues and finding files quickly. Tim will also show you simple strategies for storing, naming and organising your growing collection of images outside and inside Lightroom, including simple keywording. Essential if you use Lightroom at home and at work, or when travelling, this workshop will show you how to synchronise into one seamless workflow. No experience is necessary and there’s an opportunity to share and discuss your own specific issues during the course. Maximum of 10 places.

The course uses Lightroom software for both Mac and Windows PC users.

The workshop is run using Zoom video conferencing software and you will be able to watch and interact with your tutor during each topic presentation and ask questions throughout the day. All notes and any sample files are provided to you before the event starts, together with tips on how to use Zoom, if you’ve never used it before.

We encourage you to share questions and work in progress images with other delegates, although this is entirely optional.
