Photography Greats Two - Cancelled

(Live workshop using Zoom) You do not need to have attended the first workshop to attend this one. (Previous workshop title Masters of Photography Two.)

Having an understanding of the history of our craft will undoubtedly help make you a better photographer. 

As we strive to make stronger images, studying the works of these game-changing artists will inspire and help you to explore your vision of the world.

On this workshop we will look at the work of many great photographers, including:

- Dorothea Lange

- Gordon Parks

- Paul Strand

- Philip Lorca diCorcia

- Mary Ellen Mark

- Nan Goldin

You will also be shooting a short project which we will review in the online class.

This workshop will be for 8 - 10 people only and will be the same as a face to face workshop, just from the comfort of your own home.  Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with working on-line the tutor will be there to guide you through each step.

look out for the attachment in your confirmation email, it contains the Zoom joining link and passcode. If you don't receive it, please email learning@rps.org  

The tutor will need access to your email address to enable him to send you any workshop notes - we will presume that by booking this course you are giving permission unless you contact us to state otherwise.

Nigel Wilson is a very experienced teacher, leading inspirational classes at many institutions, including New York University, Photofusion and London’s famous Camera Club. He is also currently lecturing at the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as running workshops for the RPS.
