Dream-like long exposures made easy on a wonderful day in Brighton with Nigel Wilson. With the use of neutral density filters, it is possible to take very long exposures even in bright conditions.
You will be sent a link to a recorded section of the introduction before the workshop, so that you can watch it at your convenience. You will be able to contact the tutor directly if you need an answer to a specific question.
The Meeting point is the entrance to Brighton Pier. (The public toilets are open on the seafront in Brighton.)
This one day coastal workshop in Brighton will explain the exact techniques required to create stunning ethereal images unlike many others.
What to bring: Camera, lenses + ND filter(s).
Some spare ND filters and tripods are available - please contact Nigel for details before the workshop.
Bring a packed lunch or use local facilities.

The tutor will need access to your email address to enable him to send you any workshop notes - we will presume that by booking this course you are giving permission unless you contact us to state otherwise.
The Tutor: Nigel Wilson is a very experienced teacher, leading inspirational classes at many institutions, including New York University, Photofusion and London's famous Camera Club.
He is also currently lecturing at the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as running workshops for the RPS.

Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a course as it is not possible to refund any cancellation or transfer to another workshop less than 14 days prior to course start date. The Society reserves the right to cancel a workshop 7 days prior to its start date - please check your hotel and travel cancellation policy as this may be affected.
If you are attending one of our workshops that involves a trip out, please ensure you bring all weather clothing and protection for your camera. Persons under the age of 16 are welcome to attend events but, to conform with UK law, must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
