Through Travel and Landscape Photography to a Contemporary ARPS
In the summer of 2019, Adrian Hough travelled to Greenland in the hope of finding inspiration and material for a portfolio in Travel Photography. In the process he discovered suitable subjects and acquired the necessary images not only for the planned panel in Travel Photography but also for possible panels in Landscape and Documentary Photography as well. Eventually, he actually submitted a Panel and Statement of Intent for an ARPS in Contemporary Photography.
In this presentation Adrian will take us through his journey, looking at images and issues in the various genres, before making a more detailed examination of his successful Contemporary Panel, including the selection and cropping of the images and the lessons which we may be able to learn.
Adrian has professional qualifications in both Chemistry and Theology, is a member of the Committee of the RPS Contemporary Photography Group and convenor of the Contemporary Southwest Group.
