Presented by Digital Imaging: Eastern -
Linda is a creative photographer specialising in the landscape. She is a Fellow of the RPS and serves on the LRPS Assessment panel. She has exhibited widely and her images and articles have been published in many photographic publications. Linda has recently published her first book entitled 'Creative Photography'.
Linda achieves a soft painterly effect in her photography and always aims to portray the essence of a place. She enjoys experimenting with techniques whether in-camera or during processing and her aim is to express a personal depiction of the environment, to capture the atmosphere of the scene and the vision she is trying to convey.
Linda will start the day by covering her work leading up to gaining her Fellowship and how she eventually came up with the idea for her panel. She will then go on to explain her in-camera creative techniques. From this she will talk about how she experiments with her own photography and show us different projects that she has been working on.
This will be a PDI presentation supported by prints, which will include Linda's Fellowship panel. There will be plenty of opportunity to study the prints during the breaks.
