AGM, Print Exhibition, Keynote by Janet Haines

Event info

Come along to the AGM – Annual General Meeting - to review the past year, elect your Digital Imaging Committee for 2021/22 and have your say about Digital Imaging’s projects and programmes for the forthcoming year.

In addition to the business of the AGM meeting, there will be the selection for the 2021 Print Exhibition and Janet Haines ARPS FIPF EFIAP has agreed to be our Keynote Speaker with a presentation called ‘In My Head’. Janet says:

I don’t take images, but make images. That is to say I shoot content, but usually with an end idea firmly ‘Inside My Head’. In my talk I will share with you how I arrived at where I am today and hopefully inspire you to think a little beyond your own horizons, to experiment and find what you are passionate about.

In this talk I show several of my successful panels of work as well as individual works. Most of my work in this talk can be best described as photographic art. Just about all of them are montage or at the very least using textures. I deconstruct some of my images and talk about how I have constructed them.  I am happy to share my 'secrets' and techniques.

So there will be a lot to view on the day.
