RPS Medical Group AGM & IMI Meeting 17 Jan 2020

Event info

This lecture explores the many ways science allows us to look around us. Starting with the various forms of light , from Radio waves through to Cosmic rays and exploring the use of magnetism and sound. Also looking at the microscopic (including Nanotechnology advances), the very distant and events which are normally too fast or slow to see. Some examples will be taken from Astronomy and Physics but most of the images are of clinical applications, especially X-rays, and are therefore not for the squeamish.
