With a careful and safe return to ‘face to face’ meetings and in collaboration with Yorkshire Sculpture Park [YSP], we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our first meet with Visual Art North [VAN] group members for a day of creating some beautiful images in the stunning autumnal grounds of the YSP.
YSP is an open-air gallery situated in 500-acres of grade II listed parkland 6 miles south-east of Wakefield. It shows work by British and international artists, including Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. The park's collection of works by Moore is one of the largest open-air displays of his bronzes in Europe.
Follow the link to the YSP website for more information about getting to the park and facilities available. https://ysp.org.uk
Weather permitting, we hope this will be an all-day event running from 10:15 to around 16:00. There will be lots of opportunity to explore the park and take plenty of photos.
The day will start with a brief introduction to the park and there will also be a short discussion session, no more that 45min.
It would be wonderful to create some beautiful images with unique approaches that reflect this area.
£15.00 – includes entrance and refreshments
£9.00 – YSP Members and refreshments [YSP members would need to book YSP entrance on-line]
