Jose Closs has been a keen photographer for the last 20 years. Jose is interested in producing images that highlight the extraordinary elements from our ordinary surroundings. Increasingly producing images which draw on abstraction and magical realism.
Pandemic Projects
The restrictions of the first Covid lockdown which started in March 2020, was, for me, the catalyst for some new photographic activities.
Like many others, I decided to produce an image every day, and continued this for 100 days. Pictures were either completely new or a reprocessing of old images using new techniques to produce something different. This session will illustrate some of the projects derived from whatever I could find at home or on the doorstep.
