This is a short walk through the Campus of the Open University HQ in Milton Keynes. The campus is 45 hectares in size and has many Art Installations within the grounds complimenting the various buildings.
The walk will start at the Visitor Car Park close to the main entrance and we will take in the Art Installations, the University architecture and St Michael’s Church (not open).
The day is open to RPS members and non-members alike. Some informal help with camera settings and compositional tips can be provided. To help get the creative juices flowing we will set a challenge on the day to capture images on different subjects or themes with your favourite image being posted in the RPS website in a Feature item. However, this is not mandatory and you will be free to do your own thing if you prefer.
We will meet at 10am in the lane next to East Gate of Open University Campus. The postcode for the campus is MK7 6AA. When on site the signposting is very clear. There are no public facilities on route, or places to buy food, so please bring what you need for the day. We will break for lunch at around 12:30 and there are plenty of places to sit. We expect to finish the walk around 3pm.
