Creative Images - Glenys Garnett BA (Hons)
Event info
Glenys Garnett is a freelance visual artist and photographer. She has run her photography business for over 10 years and worked for over 30 years in Further Education.
You can view a broad portfolio of her work at www.ggcreativeimages.co.uk
She is a great advocate of sharing knowledge and encourages others to develop and improve their photography skills and particularly the use of creative thinking techniques to develop more artistic approaches to creating photographic images.
Capturing an image is just the starting point of the creative process for her and she often makes use of techniques and different equipment like ICM (Intentional Camera Movement), multiple exposure, vintage lenses and compositing techniques both in camera and software.
Glenys has a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Communication from Leeds Metropolitan University.
This presentation is about using creative in-camera techniques including ICM and Multiple Exposure and also includes how I use vintage and Lensbaby lenses for creative effect. I talk about how to do the techniques and provide lots of examples and suggestions for creative photography.
This talk will not be recorded
