London:Naturally - Horniman Nature Trail & Garden Photo Walk

Event info

This month the London Naturally Group will explore the Horniman Nature Trail and Museum Gardens. https://www.horniman.ac.uk/visit/displays/nature-trail#image-1

We meet at Forest Hill station (London Overground), approximately a 15 minute walk to the Horniman Nature Trail. The Trail is the oldest in London, about half a mile long on the site of the original Crystal Palace and South London Junction Railway closed in 1954 to become the wild woodland area it is today.

The nature trail walk is on unsurfaced paths which will be muddy in places so please wear appropriate footwear. Also bring a drink to keep you hydrated.

Following the nature trail walk, we will go on to explore the Museum Gardens. There is the option of a lunch in the Museum Cafe and a visit to the fascinating Museum for those that wish to do so.
