London:Naturally Discover hidden City Gardens

Event info

London Naturally's first outing for 2020 will explore some of the City of London's hidden green spaces. We meet at St Paul's Underground Station and take a stroll through the City visiting several gardens along the way, finishing at the Barbican.

We meet outside Exit 2 of St Paul's Underground Station, by Cafe Nero. From here we will cross to Christ Church Greyfriars where the ruins of a Wren church destroyed during the Blitz have been developed into a garden laid out to reflect the floor plan of the original church. From here we will follow a meandering route taking in several other gardens, both large and small, before we reach the Barbican. The area around London Wall has recently been redeveloped with new gardens and high level walkways which are well worth exploring.
