London Street November Photowalk Visit Soho and the West End

Our walk this month is going to be in Soho, which is usually vibrant and buzzing on a November Saturday: this will be even more so this year as our walk coincides with he Regent Street Motor Show 2021 and is also the Global Day of Action for Climate Change.

We will meet at

1. Pret a Manger
2. 77-78 St Martin’s Lane
3. WC2N 4AA

Our plan in outline is to enjoy Soho, ending up Oxford Circus/Regent Street, from where we can explore the Regent Street Motor Show: “A showcase of 125 years of motoring including veteran, vintage, classic and the very latest cars”. About the Event - Regent Street Motor Show I know this might be very busy later in the day and one of our group has said that he will be going along early at, say, 8.30am to see the cars gather and the show come together, thus beating the crowds. Some of you may want to do that before we meet up – the choice is, of course, yours!

The weather forecast is for 12 degrees and rain is not forecast – but come prepared for the weather as it is so changeable these days. Travel light – bring only what you need – and we are looking forward to a great day.

In the meantime here is one of the links to the Global Day of Action for the Climate Justice March in London, due to start start at 12:00 at the Bank of England and finish with a rally in Trafalgar Square at 3.00pm. Some of you may join our walk and go on to the March: others will wish to come on the walk but avoid the March and attendant crowds, others will want to give the walk a miss this month - and that's fine too...!
