London Street August Photowalk
Event info
It seems that another rail strike is threatened for 13th August: our current plan is for the walk to go ahead: underground, DLR and buses all appear to be running - but we will let you know if we have to change or plans.
From Bow to Stratford with Fred Barrington.
The Group will meet at the Nunnery Cafe (part of the Nunnery Gallery) at 181 Bow Road, London E3 2SJ. (Link an directions). Nearest Stations: Bow Church Station (DLR) or Bow Road (Hammersmith & City, and District).
We will leave promptly at 10:45 and walk from here to Three Mills, with its mills, canal basin and Tracey Emin sculptures. After our visit to the Three Mills, we will continue to Stratford along the canal.
Some of you may wish to leave at Stratford or continue to explore the modern buildings and/or see what's happening in the park. Alternatively you may want to walk back to West Ham, past the pumping station, which Fred says "is a sight to behold!".
