Come along, bring your friends, and enjoy our 2021/22 RPS London Region Members' Exhibition at Lauderdale House, Highgate.

This private view/open evening is on Wednesday 19 January from 7.30pm until 9.30pm and is open to everyone.

You don't have to book, but it helps us to estimate numbers if you do!.

OVERVIEW

London members of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) were invited to put forward images for this Exhibition in November 2021 showing the variety and quality of their work. Images were chosen at the pre-arranged selection day on 20th November and a broad spectrum of work was anticipated, as usual. At least one image from each photographer who submitted work was chosen.

The Annual Exhibition gives us the opportunity to showcase just a small selection of the work of London Region members;  images represent many genres and styles – from travel to contemporary, from portraiture to street - and much more. The photographers themselves range from those new to the art and practice of photography to those who have attained an ‘FRPS’, the highest level of the Society’s Distinctions:  some members work professionally or semi-professionally.  Some images are taken on film, others with the latest digital camera.

This year there was such interest in being exhibited that we are holding a second selection day for further images in January and a second Preview Day in March.  An Exhibition drawing all images together will be held in April.   Details to be confirmed.

At this Private View, you can expect to see 70+ framed and mounted prints and a number of images from the Second Selection Day, displayed digitally.
