North London October 2022 - HYBRID
Event info
Tonight, Gordana Johnson will give our keynote talk about SALVATION MOUNTAIN
In the Sonoran Desert of California lies a large art installation dominating the local landscape with psychedelic colours and a huge white cross. This is the work of Leonard Knight ( 1931-2014 ) who almost thirty years single-handedly created a masterpiece of both American Folk Art and religious art. Salvation Mountain realises the power of Knight’s artistic vision by bringing people from all over the world and of all backgrounds to appreciate its message that love is universal – whether in its religious or secular meaning.
Following Gordana's presentation, we will have our usual picture sharing - five images each uploaded to Dropbox, the link to which will be in the confirmation e-mail which you will receive from Eventbrite.
