Attendance for this talk is free of charge - however, donations will be gratefully received. The speaker, Les Loosemore, who is a Fotospeed sponsored photographer, wishes that, instead of paying him a fee, we make a donation to a charity of our choice.
We will donate all proceedings from this talk to Ty Gobaith, a charity in North Wales which provides care for children and young adults with life-threatening conditions, and offers support for families who have lost a child.
About the talk:
Les Loosemore ARPS AWPF DPAGB will brighten up a dark winter evening by taking us on a photographic sojourn through various locations in the UK, including Wales, the Lakes and Scotland.
About the speaker:
Les took up serious photography as a hobby around the year 2000, having spent much of his adult life (outside of a full working career) with a keen interest in Association Football and Professional Road Race Cycling.
Having played competitive football for 10 Years or so, a serious injury forced his early retirement from playing.
The early sports photography then broadened into many other genres, including nature, landscapes and travel, to name a few.
Complimentary to photography, Les is also a Fotospeed Sponsored Photographer, travelling the UK giving Print Presentations to camera clubs and other kindred organisations. This is also in addition to Les travelling a similar circuit as a recognised Photography Judge.
