Registration for Project Frontiers

Event info

Welcome to Project "Frontiers", a collaboration between the Royal Photographic Society and the North Wales Photographic Association.

The topic is the photographic exploration of peri-urban areas, often called “edgelands” or “fringelands”, and we aim at encouraging all of us to photographically approach landscapes we are usually inclined to regard as not worthy to be photographed.

Which photography approach you choose is entirely up to you. This can be a landscape, documentary, natural history, architectural or creative approach, to name but a few.

Before you register, please make sure you have read these two documents:

For background information about the project and for the brief, please click here.

For Questions & Answers, please click here.

And for examples (work in progress), using completely different photographic approaches, please click here.

After registration you will receive an email confirmation, with an attached pdf. Please have a read, and drop me an email northwales@rps.org if you have any questions which are not answered in the Q&A document.

Registration will close on Wednesday 30th June 2021 at midnight.
