In this fun and interactive two part workshop, Sukhy Hullait will be teaching techniques to create meaningful portraits. These may be self portraits or someone in your household; perfect for the restrictions we are living with at the moment.
Workshop 1
He will discuss how to capture the personality and mood of a subject using available light and the surrounding environment. He will also discuss camera settings, how best to pose and interact with your subject so you can make that all important shot, whatever camera you have. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and you will also be set a portrait challenge which we will review in the following session.
Workshop 2
Sukhy will provide constructive feedback on your photos and look to give guidance on how to develop your practice. It will be a friendly, informal chat and there will be lots of time to ask questions.
Sukhy is a portrait, social documentary photographer and a workshop leader. His work has featured in print, online and he has been exhibited in the UK and Europe. He is currently working on a body of work regarding young carers.
