Guide for who should attend this workshop: Those who want to gain an overview and understanding of the tools and techniques for working with gradients
What will you learn: There are so many reasons to use a Gradient when image editing - gradients make lovely soft backgrounds, or vignettes. Text can be made more exciting with a gradient overlay. In this workshop we will explore the different methods for creating and using gradients - on layers, on text, on masks. Emulate the effects of an ND Grad filter. Complete overview of the Gradient editor and creating and editing gradient swatches. Continue your journey with Gradients to work with Gradient Maps. Gradient maps create contrasty black and white images, they can be used to modify shadows highlights and mid-tones. Explore ways with creative effects and how to colourise images.

It is inevitable, that occasionally an event will be postponed or cancelled for this or another reason beyond the RPS’s control. If an event is postponed we will transfer your booking to the rearranged event, with the option of a refund if the rescheduled date is not suitable for you. Occasionally an event may also be cancelled owing to lack of bookings.Let's do something more with Composites
If an event is cancelled we will give you as much notice as we are able and any payment by you to the RPS in respect of the event offered as a full refund. In the case of events cancelled because of lack of interest we will aim to give you as much notice as possible.
However for the ByteSize events and because of the low cost, if you have paid for an event, the fee/ticket price is non-refundable.
