The curators of the Lee Miller archives, Lee Miller's and Sir Roland Penrose's son Antony Penrose and his daughter Ami Bouhassane will narrate a short film about Lee's work and life.
The narrated film is called 'The Indestructible Lee Miller' and lasts approx 45 minutes. A question and answer session will follow. Questions can be sent in advance to the meeting organiser, Rhys Jones or posted on the chat line which will be open in the meeting.

The Lee Miller Archives is a small privately run archive which is dedicated to conserving, publishing and cataloguing the lifestyle and holding of work by Lee Miller, the photography of her husband Roland Penrose. To promote scholarship and dissemination of Lee Miller & Roland Penrose's work worldwide in a manner commensurate with the artistic and humanitarian principles of the two artists.
The Lee Miller Archives supports itself entirely on the sale of rights, photographs and the opening of her home, Farleys House & Gallery to the public.
The Lee Miller Archives holding includes some 60,000 negatives, mainly black and white, most of her manuscripts, captions, notes, letters and ephemeral material, her cameras, and some of her personal effects such as her US Army uniform. It also holds approximately 3,000 photographs by Roland Penrose and photography by David E. Scherman, Man Ray, Antony Penrose and Andrew Lanyon.
